Bitcoin Support Faces Rising Selling Pressure
Bitcoin support remains firm near major technical levels as resistance, weak momentum, and geopolitical risks continue limiting recovery attempts.
- Bitcoin support continues attracting buyers, yet repeated resistance keeps the market trapped within a tightening technical range.
- Bearish momentum remains dominant as MACD and RSI weaken while support faces another critical technical examination.
- Geopolitical uncertainty continues restraining risk appetite, preventing Bitcoin from sustaining stronger recovery attempts above resistance.
Bitcoin support remains central to market attention as buyers continue defending critical technical levels. However, persistent resistance and cautious sentiment keep the broader trend confined within a narrowing trading range.
Weekly Support Remains the Market Anchor
Crypto analyst Daan Crypto Trades noted another weekly close directly at the Weekly 200 Moving Average. The update reflected continued stability around one of Bitcoin’s strongest long-term support levels. Even so, bullish momentum remained insufficient for a meaningful recovery.
The Weekly 200MA has repeatedly served as a long-term trend marker across previous market cycles. Buyers have continued protecting this area despite repeated selling pressure. That behavior preserves the broader market structure for now.
The green demand zone between approximately $57,800 and $60,000 strengthens the technical picture. It also aligns with the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement from the previous advance. Multiple technical signals therefore converge within the same support region.
Repeated support reactions often encourage market confidence during uncertain trading conditions. However, multiple retests can gradually weaken buyer conviction over time. Traders therefore continue monitoring weekly closes around these critical levels.
Resistance Keeps Limiting Bullish Momentum
Daan Crypto Trades also observed that Bitcoin continues struggling beneath the Weekly 200 EMA. Recovery attempts have consistently failed to overcome overhead resistance during recent weeks. That pattern has kept price locked inside a tightening consolidation.
Bitcoin as of the time of writing, trades around $61,900, reflecting continued hesitation after the latest selling wave. The four-hour chart shows price compressing within a slightly ascending channel. Sellers have recently pushed price toward the channel’s lower boundary.

Earlier advances repeatedly stalled near the $64,000-$64,500 resistance region. Each recovery displayed weaker buying momentum than the previous rebound. That sequence points toward sustained distribution instead of renewed accumulation.
Volume behavior supports this cautious technical picture. Selling activity strengthened during the latest decline toward support. Meanwhile, buyers have not produced convincing follow-through after previous rebounds.
Momentum Indicators Favor Market Caution
Short-term momentum indicators continue reflecting increasing selling pressure across the market. The MACD remains below the zero line without a bullish crossover. Expanding bearish histogram bars reinforce the current directional bias.
The Relative Strength Index has approached oversold territory following recent weakness. Even so, no bullish divergence has developed against price action. Oversold conditions alone rarely confirm an immediate market reversal.
Daan Crypto Trades also referenced geopolitical risks affecting broader investor sentiment. Those developments continue reducing appetite for higher-risk financial assets. Bitcoin has therefore struggled to regain stronger upside momentum despite holding structural support.
Current price action leaves Bitcoin between well-defined support and persistent resistance. Buyers continue defending major technical levels across higher timeframes. Future direction now depends on whether support survives continued selling pressure or finally gives way.
